Massachusetts' Second Oldest Town
Located on Hingham Bay, Weymouth is a residential suburb South of Quincy and Boston. It is the second oldest town in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is rich in history. Originally a fishing and agricultural community, to this day Quincy remains a coastal community with many recreational activities such as boating in the Quincy Bay and Hingham Bay and enjoying the beaches along the shores.
Weymouth is located on Route 3 which can take residents on a direct trip to visit Cape Cod and the Islands to the South. Route 3 is also connected to Route 128 to the North to go straight into Boston and Logan International Airport.
