David grew up in Hyde Park and also lived in South Boston. He attended Catholic Memorial High School and immediately after graduation went to work on the floor of the Boston Stock Exchange. After a 31-year career in finance, he decided to pursue a career in real estate. 

In addition to David’s interests in real estate, his passion has always been helping others. One example is, him and band frontman Ken Casey co-founding the Dropkick Murphys Claddagh Fund to raise funds for nonprofits that support the needs of children, veterans, and individuals suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. 

David’s charity work also includes co-founding the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation. In addition, he actively raises funds for programs such as the Gavin Foundation in South Boston, Ace Bailey Children's Foundation at Tufts Medical Center, The Travis Roy Foundation in Boston as well as numerous other charitable organizations.

Finally, David is also the owner of Breakaway Ice Center in Tewksbury MA, and continues to coach and mentor both youth and high school hockey players.
